We have provide hundreds of systems to the DC community through our ongoing partnerships with local churches, organizations and non-profits.
Solar Solution teamed up with the Smithsonian Institute and other local contractors to install solar on the newly constructed National Museum of African American History and Culture. Boasting a nearly-100kW solar array, The NMAAHC is the first Smithsonian museum to have solar panels and serves as a model for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The Washington D.C. based nonprofit Casey Trees furthered their mission to restore, enhance and protect the tree canopy of the nation’s capital by switching to solar in 2012
Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity and the DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU), we were able to install 295 solar systems. That's equivalent to nearly a million pounds of coal not burnt.
The NY Ave Presbyterian Church switched to solar in 2016.
